The Rotorua NZPA networking event was held at Rotorua Lakes Council two weeks ago. The event was attended well by central North Island members and was the first of five nationwide networking events to be held between now and the NZPA conference.
Many subjects were discussed in length for an overall informative event, including parking on grass verges, Motochek and school patrols. John Purcell, the NZPAs Deputy Chairman, spoke about the Associations ongoing work to compile a standardised training manual for enforcement officers, as well as an overview on the NZ Police run prosecution course he recently attended.
The NZPA encourages all members, as well as those looking to join the NZPA, to attend the remaining networking events in the following locations:
Christchurch 24th May
Auckland 27th June
Wellington 25th July
